Short model history
The Flaminia was Lancia’s prestige model of the 1950s–60s and successor to the Aurelia. Its chassis and refined V6 (developed by engineer Francesco de Virgilio) underpinned coachbuilt versions by Italy’s finest carrozzerie. Zagato designed the Sport: a hand-built, lightweight coupé with aluminium bodywork, aerodynamic lines and a distinctly driver-focused character.
The second series Flaminia Sport pairs that pure Zagato design with the 3C engine (three carburettors) for lively throttle response and a wonderfully elastic V6. The result is a classic gran turismo feel that is as elegant as it is potent — exactly what made Lancia’s golden years so revered.
