Original Belgian delivery, ultra-light and exceptionally complete
For those who know what a true driver’s car is: this Lotus Elise Sprint is the ultimate interpretation of the Elise. Within the Elise family, the Sprint is the most sporting and most purist version—built around one obsession: saving weight for maximum steering feel.
This example is an original Belgian car, delivered new by Frederic Koninkx Lotus (Antwerp), and comes with a complete service history. It has also recently received a major service, during which the brake pads were replaced as well. With only 19,000 km, this is a rare, fresh and correctly maintained Sprint, ready to be enjoyed immediately. The car also received a full ceramic coating, ensuring the paintwork is well protected.
Sprint: the same punch, far more finesse
The Sprint 220 combines the well-known supercharged 1.8 with that unmistakable Elise DNA: razor-sharp turn-in, immense feedback, and a chassis that remains surprisingly supple even on less-than-perfect tarmac. The key difference versus a “regular” Elise or an Elise Sport 220 is in the details you feel from the first meters: less mass, quicker responses, more precision.
With the Sprint, Lotus applied a true weight-saving approach: more extensive use of carbon, smart component choices, and reduced unsprung mass. The result is an Elise that feels even lighter on its feet and communicates even more directly.
Concretely: what makes the Sprint so special?
The Elise Sprint is the most purist and lightest interpretation within the Elise family. Lotus put the Sprint on a real diet: a lithium-ion battery (–9 kg), carbon bucket seats (–6 kg), forged lightweight wheels (–5 kg), and a combination of carbon body panels plus a polycarbonate rear window (–6 kg). Together, that amounts to a total of –26 kg compared to an Elise Sport 220—and you can feel it: even more immediate turn-in, even more feedback, and that trademark “light-on-its-feet” Elise sensation.
Those forged wheels reduce unsprung mass and give the car an extra knife-edge feel on turn-in and during rapid direction changes.
Add to that a more motorsport-inspired approach in finishes and materials: Sprint details and sporty accents you expect from the top specification.
Highly desirable option: original carbon hardtop (incl. carry bag)
A major highlight of this car is the original carbon hardtop—then (and still today) an expensive and highly sought-after option. Even better: it is supplied with the original dedicated carry bag, ideal for safe storage and transport.
Enthusiast-owned, sold for the right reason
The owner is a true Lotus enthusiast who has owned several Lotuses and recently purchased a new Lotus again. That is why this Elise Sprint is now becoming available—a car that has clearly been cared for properly, and not simply “moved on” without reason.
In short: an original Belgian-delivered Lotus Elise Sprint (2019) with 19,000 km, full history, a recent major service with new brake pads, and the rare carbon hardtop with carry bag.
If you’re looking for the Elise in its purest form—light, sharp, honest and addictive—this is the one.
